QotD: Dear Diary

Do you keep a journal or diary?  How often do you write in it?

I tried doing the written journal thing this year, but I'm anal retentive about things like that.  The journal had to lock, which was easy enough, but then I like consistency within the journal so I always had to use the same pen.  That's still easy enough, but then there was the matter of my penmanship.  I'm usually okay for the first three sentences and then it takes a turn for the worse.  Once things start getting sloppy, it makes me sad so I stop.  (I really don't know why my penmanship is so ugly.)  So I kept up with it for about 2 months and then it went and died.

Typically, I do write everyday though.  Typically, it's in my LJ.  I do want to start writing in here more often but I just need to find the time!

Have you ever Googled your own name? How did you feel about the results?

I tend to Google myself from time to time.  You have to get to about the sixth page of results before I actually appear and even then, it's just an LJ layout.  There used to be links from UConn's honors department on there about me, but the ironic thing was that I never agreed to be in the honors program.  I guess they just automatically put you in if you're on scholarship, but eventually, they realized that I wasn't taking any honors courses and they dropped me, lol.

Books, movies, music; what's in your top 5 right now?

Books - I've got my grubby hands on a bunch of mystery novles, mostly James Patterson and Patricia Cornwall, as well as The Secret Life of Bees. 

Movies - I'm going through an old school phase.  All Amitabh and Vinod Khanna movies!  And I'm getting some classic films as well like Casablanca. :)  I've been missing out on some great movies.

Music - Meh.  Nothing really at the moment.  So not impressed.

My desktop, my work laptop, 2 old apples, my dad's desktop, my mom's laptop, my mom's work laptop, my two old desktops, and a few old pcs.  Anywhere from 10 - 13, plus my incumbent macbook. =)

Clean and then work and maybe have some fun along the way. 

And probably sleep a lot more.
